Per Una Originale

I know what you're thinking. Piff poff cheap perfumes smells like a pee pot. Well first of all - who uses a pee pot in this century? We now have toilets ... hip hip hooray!

O.K.

Yeah, I've heard it ... cheap perfumes smell cheap. Oh and if you're a woman you don't want to smell cheap because, ya know you might appear to be - oh I don't know ... unpretentious. Anyway how does cheap smell ... I mean I get that phrase but ... wouldn't a cheap person smell unwashed ... like urine, stale menstruation (if you're a woman or ...) and faecal matter (ok maybe they'd just smell dirty) or stingy like they've only used a swipe of soap for fear they have to buy another one. I know hardly the topic I should be on when writing about a perfume or in actuality a eau de toilette. Moving on ...

Yet, I fear its necessary since some folks out there (yeah I be looking straight at you) love to turn their noses down at stuff that doesn't cost half a leg and an eyeball. I'm sorry but I'm not one of those folks ... I'd much rather save a leg and eyeball and opt for an inexpensive scent than depart with my organs for a hyped up supposed luxury scent (mini rant over). So here it is is Per Una Orginale ... costs £4 and smells ...

... Well it smells fresh to me and although I liked the smell of another perfume better (ISIS) at the store. Compared with other fragrances in my collection this scent smells youthful. I would say its a floral with a clean tone i.e. its not suffocating and even if you don't necessarily like floral's (I do) you'll probably like this. The scent to me makes me think of a damp forest, fresh, green and brimming with life but yet calm ... and no it doesn't smile pine like at all, its just what I envision. However, I'd say it is a scent that can be quite professional than hippie orientated (trust me I've got some jazzy scents) so at times for me it can feel dare I say it boring.

Oh and apparently after giving my sister a sniff she said it smells like Chanel's Chance and other people seem to agree if you read the reviews on M&S's website. The scent definitely lasts and feels upbeat plus because of its size you can literally carry it anywhere (pocket friendly). Now generally I'm one of those people who splash on a different scent now and then but, in order to change this habit I think I'll stick with this for now. Why? because its a scent that would be perfect for any occasions.

All in all its a very pretty sparking scent that won't offend unlike ... well that's another review...and story ...
