I'm not really one to go wild for celebrity-hairdressers' endorsed products, but having been a slave to Trevor Sorbie's curl cream since the age of thirteen, I was keen to try a few more products from the range. I was quite taken with how extensive the Trevor Sorbie hair range actually is, with every need catered for - whether you are after volume, curls, colour specific or extra moisture. The one thing I look for with hair products is something to keep my blonde colour burning brightly with the ability to eradicate any brassiness or dullness that comes with over-processing and general washing.

The Beautiful Blonde collection boasts a shampoo, conditioner, intensive treatment and UV protector spray. I have been treating my tresses to the ice cool platinum intensive treatment recently and I really like the way it nourishes my hair and leaves it soft and bright. Firstly the colour of this intensive treatment is a wondrous soft-lilac and it feels silky smooth, distributing nicely on the hair. You could use this quickly as an everyday hair product or leave it on for longer for a more indulgent, deep conditioning treatment. Considering it has been over six weeks since my last visit to the hairdressers, my hair does still look quite fresh and free of any brassy tones, and I do think this product has definitely helped with that. So thumbs up for such an affordable, quick and easy hair treatment.
